A very good hamburger from a local spot in Astoria called Bareburger. Apparently everything is organic there which I could honestly care less about, but the burgers are the best in NYC hands down and not pricey at all. If interested they’re located on 31st ave. and 34th St. In Astoria.

Rumor has it the place was started by locals that grew up here in Astoria. They earned a full endorsement from me just on the strength of how good the food is. If you stop by tell them Eddie Mercer sent you (they’ll ask “Who the hell is that?”) just tell them the guy they should hire me to take professional photos of their entire menu and build an awesome website/menu with the pictures. In this case I’d work for food.
